Receives Endorsement from Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson

Jerry Patterson, Texas Land CommissionerFort Bend County - Cynthia Dunbar, Candidate for State Board of Education, District 10 gains approval from yet another high-ranking Republican leader in support of her candidacy. Land Commissioner, Jerry Patterson endorses Cynthia Dunbar and joins the ranks of others such as David Barton, Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Texas, Kelly Shackelford, Pres. Free Market Foundation, and Senator Kyle Janek.

"I have worked hard for the party and its platform for years. I am honored to have earned the respect of so many key leaders that I have admired and respected all those years. I now welcome the opportunity to work as diligently for the people of District 10 as I have for the party," Dunbar said in response to this most recent endorsement.

Cynthia Dunbar's years of practice as a lawyer and as Director of Governmental Affairs make her the experienced candidate. However, even more than her experience, her track record as a proven conservative has earned her the endorsement of numerous key political figures including several State Board of Education Members and state Legislators, both current and former, as well as the Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.

"Anyone who truly understands the State Board of Education knows that Cynthia Dunbar is the obvious choice. She is the qualified, conservative candidate who will do the job we all want done!"
Richard Neill, Former State Board of Education Member

"Cynthia Dunbar's years of practice in reviewing law and her experience in writing Early American History Curriculum make her abundantly qualified, and she will be an indispensable asset to the State Board of Education."

"Texas is fortunate to have someone with the passion, experience, understanding and commitment to values-based education willing to serve our state. We all need to unite and support her candidacy."
